Position Senior Communications Manager
Location Abu Dhabi, UAE
The Senior Communications Manager tasks and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Develop impactful communication strategies to engage and communicate effectively with employees and external stakeholders and elevate the way IMI communicates internally and externally.
  • Execute plans to deliver internal and external engagement and communications and ensure a clear content calendar is planned and implemented for internal and external communications.
  • Set the tone of voice for the organisation.
  • Identify and adhere to a communications process, ensuring close collaboration and effective relationship building across IMI and its departments and functions, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Organise and execute events to engage staff and encourage collaboration. This includes drafting internal communications, newsletters and company-wide announcements in English and Arabic, as well as planning and executing all-staff events, focus groups, town halls, and other internal events and activities.
  • Assist in developing content of monthly newsletter.
  • Oversee the company’s intranet platform, ensuring that content is regularly updated, relevant and in line with company branding and messaging guidelines. This includes coordinate with different departments to curate and publish content, fostering a cohesive internal communication flow.
  • Plan the PR and media relations activities for all IMI entities and leadership. This includes managing PR agency, and drafting all communications materials such as press releases, features, interviews, thought leadership pieces, speaking notes, and any other PR activity requirements in Arabic and English across the region.
  • Review and lead the approval process for the communications materials.
  • Monitor the brand presence, trends, and sentiment across all media channels and platforms utilizing the most advanced tools and provide reports to stakeholders as and when required.
  • Work with Head of Communications to plan and deliver on any crisis communications needs, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure the brand is present positively across media outlets and expanding the brand reach through external comms activities.
  • Plan and manage budget for internal and external activities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to monitor target audiences, industry trends, and competitor activities.
