Chantal Saliba|

TV Presenter - Director of Media & Training IMI Media Academy

Chantal Saliba is Director of Media & Training at IMI Media Academy, where she leads the development and delivery of media and communication training programmes designed to strengthen professional capabilities, confidence and executive presence.

With extensive experience in broadcast journalism, training and coaching, Chantal brings a practical, industry-led perspective to the Academy’s programmes. Since joining Sky News Arabia in 2014, she has anchored major news programmes covering regional and international developments, including The Newsroom and The Nine. She also hosted Kawkabuna (Our Planet) for three years, developing extensive experience in environmental and climate reporting, including coverage in the lead-up to COP28.

Chantal is a certified trainer and coach, holding the QUALIFI Level 3 Award in Education and Training (UK), a Certified Professional Trainer Diploma and a Certified Professional Coach credential. She has trained media professionals, senior executives and emerging talent, helping participants communicate with clarity, confidence and authenticity.

Her career spans news anchoring, presenting, production, training and high-profile event moderation. She has moderated and hosted major regional and international events including the World Government Summit, Arab Media Summit, COP28, ADIPEC, The Bridge Summit and Abu Dhabi Ideas Weekend.

Through her role at IMI Media Academy, Chantal combines her broadcasting experience, coaching expertise and understanding of audience engagement to help professionals become more effective and impactful communicators.

Khalid Al Hosani|

Director of Operations, IMI Media Academy

Khalid Al Hosani is Director of Operations at IMI Media Academy, where he leads the Academy’s operational strategy and oversees the delivery of key initiatives, partnerships, budgeting and business operations. His role focuses on building efficient and sustainable operational frameworks that support the Academy’s programmes, long-term growth and organisational impact.

With more than 13 years of experience across the media, energy and corporate sectors, Khalid brings extensive expertise in operations, administration, governance and organisational development. Throughout his career, he has focused on strengthening operational structures, improving efficiency and creating workplace environments that enable organisations to perform effectively, scale and adapt.

Prior to his current role, Khalid led administration, facilities, logistics and operational support functions across IMI and its media entities, overseeing complex operational requirements and supporting consistent governance and business continuity. His experience also includes a senior facilities and logistics role at Sky News Arabia, where he managed operational functions within a fast-paced media environment.

Earlier in his career, Khalid worked within ADNOC’s maritime operations, supporting navigation and operational procedures aboard LNG vessels before going on to lead an Oil spill response team. These roles developed his experience in complex operations, crisis response, risk management and team leadership.

Khalid is also a Certified Expert Trainer specialising in crisis management and protocol strategies. Through his role at IMI Media Academy, he combines operational leadership with a strong commitment to knowledge sharing and professional development, helping build resilient teams, effective organisations and future-ready leaders.
