IMI Appoints Rania Masri El Khatib as Chief Brand, Marketing and Communications Officer and Sherif Badreddine as Chief Revenue Officer

IMI (IMI), the region’s leading private media investment group, today announced new appointments to its executive management team, with Rania Masri El Khatib joining as Chief Brand, Marketing and Communications Officer and Sherif Badreddine as Chief Revenue Officer. Both executives will report to IMI CEO Rani R. Raad.

These appointments support IMI’s development efforts to build and elevate the group into a globally leading media hub with a future-focused vision.

Rania Masri El Khatib brings over 20 years of experience in branding, marketing, and developing innovative approaches to audience engagement through her work with global brands and launching local brands. Her previous roles include Chief Transformation Officer at Chalhoub Group, the Middle East’s largest luxury retail organization, before starting her own consultancy. In her new role, Rania will lead brand strategy, marketing, communications, and creative operations, with a vision to expand audience engagement across all touchpoints in a fast-paced, information-rich world. “I am excited to join IMI and contribute to an industry that not only informs people but enriches their lives and enhances their well-being,” said Rania.

Sherif Badreddine brings over twenty-five years of experience in media and advertising, having served as Commercial Affairs Director at MBC Group, where he developed a comprehensive approach focused on content innovation and alternative revenue streams. His leadership and strategic innovation mindset have made a tangible positive impact on the high-profile institutions and brands he has worked with across various sectors. In his new role, Sherif will lead the commercial operations team, ensuring product innovation and revenue growth. “I am thrilled to join IMI, a group at the forefront of media innovation and storytelling. As our content continues to engage, guide, and inspire audiences worldwide, my goal is to cement partnerships with our clients and agencies and enhance their brands’ presence in innovative ways,” said Sherif.
